This October will see the launch of a new eight-week long digital arts festival, twonotten, and this is your opportunity to be part of it. Submissions are now being called for from digital artists who wish to showcase their work. The final venues for the festival are to be confirmed, although we can announce that the bargate monument gallery and a number of artvaults in Southampton will be part of the event.

The 4rd World Ceramic Biennale International Competition
This grand-scale international event participated by the world’s finest ceramic artists focuses on defining new values and creative direction for the 21st century ceramic arts. The international competition, one of the main events of the World Ceramic Biennale Korea, will be held from April 28 to June 24 in 2007 where ceramic artists from across the globe will compete in categories of “Ceramics for Use” and “Ceramics as Expression.”
VIDEOLOGIA 2006
Curatorial group of VIDEOLOGIA is calling for entries for the official selection program of the III International festival of audio-visual arts that will take place in Volgograd, Russia, in November of 2006. Artists and directors working with short films, video art, animation, documentary films, net art and various visual experiments are welcome to participate! All selected titles will be screened in the cinema halls and art galleries and evaluated by the independent jury and local audience.

3rd international video journalism award Berlin
The 3rd international video journalism award is an international competition of short documentary videos, television journalism reports in any language and reportages in German language by reporters and video journalists working individually. The directing, camera work, sound and editing are all the work of a single person. The video producers utilize the creative potential of digital technology and approach the new, autonomous production methods as a challenge and an advancement of video production. Alongside the idea and the concept, the pre-selection committee and the jury appraise the imaginative use of filmmaking techniques by video journalists.
Second Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art
The Ministry of Culture and Mass Communication, the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography and the Moscow Biennale Art Foundation present the Second Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. It will be held from February 22 to March 22, 2007.

transmediale – festival for art and digital culture berlin, invites submissions for its Award Competition 2007. The competition highlights outstanding contemporary artistic positions in digital media art. The international jury will award one main prize of EUR 4.000, and two second prizes of EUR 2.000 each.
