Created in 1994, the International Festival of Mediterranean Documentary & Current Affairs Film, called now PriMed, helps give a better visibility to films dealing with the societies, history, heritage, and art in Mediterranean countries. The Festival also helps these films to get better distribution across the region.
EMAF is one of the most influential forums of international Media Art. As a meeting point for artists, curators, distributors, galleries and an audience of experts the festival has a great impact on the topics and aesthetics of Media Art. Effective immediately, the 57th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen is inviting filmmakers from around the world to submit new works for the 2011 competitions. Regardless of genre or format, Oberhausen is seeking unusual film languages, works that change our ways of seeing things. The Festival will present five competitions: International, German, Children’s and Youth Films, Films from NRW and the MuVi Award for the best German music video, with its own set of regulations.

The Henry Art Gallery, the art museum of the University of Washington in Seattle, is soliciting proposals for a site-specific, large-scale temporary media project for the facade of the museum’s main entrance.
The year 2011 will mark the 16th German International Exhibition of Graphic Art, which was founded in 1970 and is now held triennially. It aims to support contemporary graphic arts. The exhibition is organized by the Kunstverein zu Frechen e.V, in cooperation with the town of Frechen.
