12th European Film Festival

Event dates: 9th – 25th of November 2007

We are looking for European feature and short films under the titles of Minorities, Political Films, Absurd and “Circle”
Besides the so-called ‘popular’ and ‘known’ films which can be under those titles, we are waiting for your suggestions from all over Europe…

12th Festival on Wheels will be organized in Ankara and Kars (and 2 more cities), Turkey.

The programme consists of following sections:

  • European Feature Films
  • Retrospectives
  • European Short Films (fiction, animation, experimental)

The Festival on Wheels will have an international competition among the recent feature films. The jury will award the following prizes: The Festival Grand Prize, “The Golden Goose” of the City of Kars (15.000 Euro) for the best film in competition, the Special Jury Prize “The Silver Goose” of the City of Kars (5000 Euro) for the second best film in the competition. The short films in the European Panorama section will compete for the Audience Award (1000 Euro).


  • Films produced in 2006 – 2007 are eligible (exception: Retrospectives).
  • The Festival accepts only films on 35mm.
  • The Festival does not accept documentaries.
  • Films of 30 minutes or less are eligible for the short film section.
  • Applications to the Festival must be made by the official Entry Form.
  • The publicity material should be forwarded before 1 August 2007.
  • The deadline to withdraw films is 1 September 2007.
