The EMAP residency programme places a strong emphasis on collaboration. Applicants must therefore apply as a duo or collective, or propose a collaborative project with a collaborator local to the host institution or a partner of their choice.

2-day training school (18-19 25-26 May 2026).
Hosted by the University of Galway, Ireland.
Applications deadline: 7 April 2026.
This COST funded Training School is calling artists, agents, double agents, shape-shifters, spooks and tricksters – not excluding wizards or magicians – overground, on the ground, or underground. Especially people who quake, tremble with others, are vague or uncertain. Join us for two days in Galway for creative discussion, exploration and imagination.
