Algorave at NeMe Arts Centre

Iannis Zannos (SuperCollider) and Yiannis Christidis (Guitar) will perform an Algorave at the NeMe Arts Center – corner of Ellados and Enoseos streets, Limassol, Cyprus – on Monday, November 2, at 9:30pm.

This is the first Algorave ever performed in Cyprus. It is an improvised concert using live coding, where the sound is generated by computer through code written (and/or modified) during the piece. It will use the 8 speakers of the interactive installation Two Worlds.

Two Worlds has been created by Zannos and Christidis and employs sounds recorded in Cyprus in a project focusing on Migration as a cultural phenomenon.

The performance will last for one hour. Entrance is free.
