Festival for expanded media – film, video, new media, installation, performance, theory.

Film and Video

Contributions to the film/video competition must include a preview DVD or VHS tape (PAL or NTSC). Films and videos submitted to the »International Shortfilm Competition« should not be longer than 30 minutes. Submitted films and videos being longer than 30 minutes may run in a special programme outside the competition.

Microcinema

In the micro cinema-section various, non-interactive works may be submitted, which use new forms of production and reception – such as machinimas, realtime demos, cut scenes or films for portable devices. The terms and conditions of »film and video« apply to the micro cinema section.

New Media

Online and offline contributions from the fields of software, net art, virtual communities and interactive storytelling may be submitted. All contributions can be submitted independently from their operating system or platform. Online contributions may be submitted via our website.

Installation, performances, workshops

Please enclose detailed plans, information, technical specifications and a calculation. For contributions in the competition no honorarium will paid.

Theory

Please send the title of the work, a short abstract(maximum 5000 characters) and the mode or presentation (text,lecture…). Texts will be published as abstract or in full length in the context of the festival.
