Hou Hanru appointed Curator of the 10th International Istanbul Biennial.
The 10th International Istanbul Biennial, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts is set for 8 September-4 November 2007 under the curatorship of Hou Hanru.
The Biennale of Sydney has showcased contemporary art from Australia and around the world since 1973 and is one of the largest and most exciting contemporary visual arts events. The 2008 Biennale will be held at venues and sites throughout Sydney, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The curating of Internet-based art on the Internet is a multifaceted communication-process between Internet-users with all kinds of different backgrounds regarding the content. Along with the changing conditions of production and reception of art on the Internet came new possibilities of curation which deserve study. Tate announced the four artists shortlisted for the Turner Prize 2007. The artists are Zarina Bhimji, Nathan Coley, Mike Nelson and Mark Wallinger.
