Spatialized Networks And Artistic Mobilization

In conjunction with the annual research, “Networks/Mobilities,” the Society for the Humanities at Cornell University will be host to an international workshop on “Spatialized Networks and Artistic Mobilizations.” Organized by Timothy Murray, Director of the Society for the Humanities, the Workshop gathers together international figures in the practice and theory of spatial networks and artistic mobility. This is the first of a series of 2009-10 public events on “Networks/Mobilities,” that will foster discussion of the flows of peoples, materials, images, and ideas across physical and virtual boundaries. The Workshop opens, Friday, October, 23, at 1:45 in the A. D. White House.

A psychological condition in which we can not accept a real fact or situation as such. The Cartier Award 2010

Frieze Art Fair announced today the call for entries to The Cartier Award 2010. The Cartier Award is open to artists living outside of the UK, up to five years from graduating from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or under thirty years of age. The Cartier Award is organised by Frieze Projects, sponsored by Cartier and presented in collaboration with Gasworks.

During Eric’s early years in architecture, he was an apprentice to his grandfather, Frank Lloyd Wright and his father, Lloyd Wright. After the nine years of “Art on the Net,” we launched a new event called the “Project Netarts.org.” The “Project netarts.org” has been calling on artists around the world to investigate together the relationship between Art, the Internet and the Society.
