The deadline for submitting works to the 20th anniversary edition of the Images Festival is 17 November 2006

The Images Festival is Canada’s annual showcase for the innovative edge of international contemporary media art. Over the past 19 years, the festival has screened thousands of independent films and videos in all genres, and has presented groundbreaking live performances and media art installations by many renowned Canadian and international artists. Attended by more than 20,000 people each year, the Images Festival is a critical forum for the independent media arts in Canada and around the world.

The 20th edition of the Images Festival will take place 5-14 April 2007 in Toronto, Canada.

The Images Festival has an ongoing open policy of reviewing curatorial proposals from the public and this year we invite curators
to submit exhibition proposals for our 20th festival, April 5-14, 2007.

Images is the largest festival in Canada for independent media, showcasing international excellence and innovation both on and off the screen.
