DEADLINE:
8 June 2009
(expired)

This is a call for art projects that fit the topic of ‘the slow Web.’ Designers, artists, programmers with a love for beautiful code, hand-drawn info-visualization, slow social networking, and zero-template design, are invited to submit a proposal for a work to be developed and shown in the context of Impakt Online. What is Web design without a template, and what is Web culture without profiles and required fields? While the Impakt festival focuses on ‘Accelerated Living’ this year, Impakt Online is in search of the slow Web.

Please submit your project proposal (max 1000 words) and a short bio (max 500 words) to online(at)impakt(dot)nl, by June 8th, 2009. A total of three projects will be selected and supported.

Impakt Online is a platform for Internet art, powered by Impakt and curated by Sabine Niederer. Impakt is an organisation for innovative and interdisciplinary audio-visual arts, that resides in the Dutch city of Utrecht.
