Recognized curators from any nationality are invited to submit one or more proposals for solo exhibitions with artists currently working in the Middle East, North Africa or South Asia.

Three submissions will be selected for the Abraaj Capital Art Prize and each of these will receive $200,000 to cover production and installation costs, catalogue, shipping and travel for both curator and artist. Included in the budget will be a fixed fee of $15,000 for the curator.

Projects from the 2009 prize are currently on display at Art Dubai. As Art Dubai is the Middle East’s largest modern and contemporary annual art fair, the unveiling during this event offers the winning artists an unparalleled opportunity to widen their global reputation and network. The works also will become part of the Abraaj Capital corporate collection.
