IDEODROME 2008 presents seven video projects by Cypriot artists. This year’s theme is “Off Screen” and explores the relationship between reality and image, between what exists and it’s reflection.
The participants: Demetris Rousos, Yiannos Economou, Konstantia Sofokleous, Ioakim Mylonas, Panayiotis Fotiou, Diomedis Nikitas and Adonis Florides.
These videos have been created exclusively for IDEODROME 2008 and will be presented exclusively as a 30 minute event, continuously looping on a large screen at the sea front, at the end of the pier (next to old Limassol harbour).
IDEODROME 2008 is a project initiated by Adonis Florides and is a continuation of IDEODROME 2006 and 2007. It is a NeMe project presented by the Independent Museum of Contemporary Art (IMCA)
Suturday, November 8th, 2008, 5pm until midnight.
The event is sponsored by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture, Cultural Services and supported by the Municipality of Limassol.
