NeMe: Emergences festival III

The third edition of the Emergences festival, new artistic forms and new media meeting, will be held in Paris from September 24th to October 2nd ...

For this edition, the festival goes back to its headquarters in the Maison de la Villette and invests new Parisian cultural places : Confluences, Ars Longa and Ircam.

Once again, the festival offers a prolific artistic programme at the crossroad between performing & visual arts, multimedia, design, architecture and electronic music; always bearing in mind its objective for the discovery and encouragement of new art forms.
This year's edition of Emergences questions the frailty of identity in addressing issues of intimacy, otherness, or schizophrenia, in a society deeply confused over communication and information technologies.

The Maison de La Villette will then become a real technological Cabaret, revisiting the strange and peculiar atmosphere of Cabinet of curiosities. At the heart of this baroque and fantasmagorical universe each spectator is embarked on an intimate journey filled with sensory experiences : installations, shows, performances, concerts, projections, DJ and VJ sets..
