NeMe: Submit a Text

Do you write?

We’re compiling a database of texts for this website.

While we’re searching on and off line for suitable writers and suitable subjects, we also welcome submissions from people who wrote a good text on a suitably interesting subject.

We actually want to post texts more often. If you have an idea for a text that would fit in, just get in touch with us and send us a proposal.

Please attach your text, synopsis or abstract, in the form below and let us know whether you would like to illustrate your text with relevant images. Please do not forget to include your email address so as to get in touch with you regarding your submission.

We can’t pay you for a text we publish here, but we will give you full credit and link to your website or/and email.

We accept submissions in pdf, doc, txt and cwk formats. For your submission to be accepted write

• a brief synopsis about it in the text box provided
• include a short bio which we will publish in this site.
• Let us know of your name and email so as to let you know if your text is accepted. Without it we cannot publish or review any submissions here. Please read our privacy statement.
• Maximum file size is 5Mbs.

Here is our Agreement.

1. Your Rights

Even though you submit text(s) to neme.org for inclusion in the site, and execute this agreement, you retain all rights in your work.

By including text(s) in neme.org, you are not precluded from any form of publication, online or offline. Neither of us will seek or be entitled to any compensation from the other by reason of neme.org including your text(s) in its site.

If you ask us to remove an individual or all your texts from our site, we will endeavour to do so within 60 days of receipt of your request. Requests may be sent via posting a comment under your article.

Note: removing your text(s) means removing it from the web site. We will not be able to remove metadata from backup disks of the web site in archival storage.

2. Our Rights

You grant neme.org the right to publish your text within the neme.org site and to use your name, the title of your text, and any other material including photographs, sound or any other media you submit to us.

You grant neme.org the right to translate your text to Greek and/or Turkish and publish it within this site.

We reserve the right to remove your text from the neme.org site at any time for good reason. If we remove your text from neme.org, we will attempt to notify you by sending an email to the email address you provide.

3. Your Obligations

You agree to keep us informed regarding changes to your contact information.

4. Our Obligations

We agree to notify you if we remove your text form our site in accordance with Section 2 above.

5. Representations; Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability

You represent that the text and/or other material that you provide to us do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other person, that you have the rights to authorize neme.org to include such data in its site and to link to your site and that you are authorised to enter into this agreement.

We represent that we are authorized to enter into this agreement, and we disclaim all other representations and warranties, express or implied.

Neither neme.org nor any of its administrators, editors, members, employees, agents, representatives, information providers or licensors (“Affiliates”) represent or warrant that the neme.org site will be available or will be uninterrupted or error free, or that access to the neme.org site will be secure, or that information contained in the neme.org site will be accurate.

In no event will neme.org, or any of its Affiliates be liable to you for any direct or other damages arising out of our publishing the material submitted to us by you.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless neme.org and its Affiliates from and against all third-party claims and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of our including your text and/or other material, including, but not limited to, any breach of any of your representations.

We agree to defend, indemnify and hold you harmless against all third-party claims and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of the neme.org (other than claims and expenses arising out of any breach of your representations), including, but not limited to, any breach of any of our representations.

7. Survival

Sections 6 and 8 and this Section 7 shall survive termination of this Agreement.

8. Miscellaneous

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between neme.org and you and may only be amended in writing by mutual agreement. No waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
