6th Christchurch Biennial of Art in Public Space, New Zealand
SCAPE 2010 will be the 6th Christchurch Biennial presented by the Art & Industry Biennial Trust. New Zealand’s premier biennial of art in public space will be held in Christchurch, 24 September to 7 November 2010.
HIGH IMPACT PUBLIC ART
SCAPE has established a vital platform for artists to develop dynamic, critical and progressive new public artworks.
SCAPE 2010 will be a highly compelling display of geographically concentrated public artworks by local, national and international artists, with great impact to engage, fascinate and ignite locals and visitors. Artworks will be achieved via a genuine and equal partnership between art and industry.
NEW CURATORIAL GROUP ANNOUNCED FOR SCAPE 2010
The group has three members – convenor Blair French, Executive Director of Artspace, Sydney, Christchurch artist and Arts Foundation Laureate Artist, Julia Morison and Boffa Miskell Landscape Architect, William Field.
