THE JUDGING
Following the submission deadline, our in house team will select 15 films plus the 5 films rated most highly by the public by the 7th November. On the 9th November, these 20 finalists will go before our panel of judges and be screened in the featured section of our home page and on The Guardian Unlimited. Winners and Prizes will be announced on 23rd November 17:00 (GMT).
Tag your film with “1minutetosavetheworld” when you upload it, and download our title sequence (optional). This will help people direct people to the site to vote for you. Get your entries in quickly and spread the word so that more people watch and vote for your film. One vote per person per film.
THE AWARDS
The winning film will receive a cash prize of £1000 generously donated by Passion Pictures.
Winning films will screen in selected cinemas in the UK. Youth films will screen at the British Film Institute on November 28th with TrueTube. Other finalists will be chosen to screen at the Copenhagen Climate Conference.
