To get involved in the Journalist Award 2009, you can submit a journalistic item related to one of the five categories:

  1. Award for Printed Articles
    • Written articles published in a publication, newspaper or magazine whether in its printed or online version
  2. Award for Blogs
    • Blog posts published online on cross-cultural issues by journalists and bloggers
  3. Award for Radio Productions
    • Radio items produced by journalists
  4. Award for Television Productions
    • Television programmes presented or produced by journalists
  5. Special Recognition for Conflict Reporting
    • Written articles, radio or television items produced on a conflict or war in the region
