backup_festival 2008

http://www.neme.org/blog/backup_festival-2008

The backup_festival is a short film festival for young talents, who handle the different styles of production and expression in a creative analysis. They cross the borders of film in order to reflect and define the different possibilities of filming formats.

The backup_festival is a place for an inspiring meeting of a young media scene and as well as a platform for contacts to established artists in film, art and design.

backup began 1999 in the European Cultural Capital Weimar. During the past backup has reached a level that secures it a respectable place among the European festivals.
There are always fruitful cooperation with media businesses, and likewise joint events with other German and European universities besides Weimar’s Bauhaus University.
